Electrocardiography

on June 26th, 2009 by Josh

Electrocardiography, otherwise known as EKG or ECC is one of the medical equipments found in hospitals.  It uses skin electrodes to record heart activity.  It is mostly used for the detection of heart disease and sudden heart attack.  Patients are hooked up these machines by pads taped to their chest.  The widely known indicator of an EKG machine is the slow repetitive”beeps” that record the heart’s activity.  When the “beep’s” speed up or slow down, doctors or nurses should be ready to save a life.  The EKG machines “flat-lines” if the heart stops producing electrical activity.

The DRX9000 Spinal Decompression Device…Beats Back Pain

The DRX9000 Spinal Decompression Device…Beats Back Pain
by Randall Pruitt, DC, DACNB, DAAPM, MUAC, CES-NASM

Most of the patients I see on a daily basis have suffered from lower back or neck pain for many months to many years.

Surgery is the next step for most of the patient that come to see me, in fact the majority of the patients I see have already exhausted several other treatment options.

When they arrive at my clinic they are always hoping that spinal decompression can offer them an opportunity to avoid taking that risky step of having an invasive surgery.

The majority of these patients are in luck because in most of these cases I can help, as I have been doing for over a decade.

The reason I can help the majority of these patients with their disc problems when others have failed is because of my use of the drx9000.

This technology goes hand in hand with what the latest research about back pain has been showing. That the disc is the main source of pain and the mechanism behind how the disc heals.

The disc by nature is avascular which makes it’s healing capabilities very low unless there is normal motion in the spine to create a pumping effect. This mechanism draws fluid and nutrition into the disc so it can heal.

Creating the fluid exchange through negative pressures in the disc is what allows the disc to begin the healing process. The influx of nutrients and hydration allows a scarring effect to take place this in turn creates a long term solution to disc pain.

The research behind the drx9000 is what makes this particular form of spinal decompression so promising. Doctors from institutions like the Mayo Clinic, Johns Hopkins and Stanford have been involved in the research process.

The reduction in the amount of unnecessary spinal surgeries is a byproduct of the use of the DRX9000 technology. This allows the opportunity for patients to find a real solution and not be dependent on pain management in the future. I have saved thousands of patients from surgery and I am certain thousands more before my career is over.

If you suffer from chronic back or neck pain the author Dr. Randall Pruitt a chiropractic neurologist in Phoenix, Arizona can help. His proprietary spinal decompression program has been highly effective for even the worst cases. His use of the DRX9000 has been extremely effective to say the least, patients with little hope other than surgery have been helped when other treatments have failed.

Sciatica Treatments

on June 14th, 2009 by rsbpc1234

Some of the worst cases of sciatica may be referred for surgery. This approach may help a small number of these cases and may in fact be the treatment of choice, however it brings with it significant risk factors and a poor success rate. Spinal surgeries have about a 50% success rate and often can lead to a condition called failed back surgery syndrome. This condition is usually caused by scar tissue formation, spinal instability or another disc being involved due to increase stress on adjacent levels. It is also very likely another surgery may be indicated in the future. With spinal decompression, the risk of increased pain is virtually non existent.

Money Savings on Food

Money Savings on Food

Thinking of cutting down your expenses on food? Then you should read the following tips. They will surely help you on reducing your food expenses. They are by no means comprehensive but they will be very useful.

For coffee drinkers

It is a good idea to re-use the grounded coffee once. Using coffee grounds two times or more will not greatly affect the taste of the coffee. It is highly encouraged to do this using a filter that is permanent and avoid the paper variety. Keep the grounds refrigerated until using it the following day.

For bread lovers

Grocery stores sell bread that was made the day before at a much lower price. There is nothing wrong with eating bread that was made the day before since it still is good to eat. If you have a lot of space in your refrigerator, store a lot for bigger savings. If you will eat the bread, you can defrost it using your microwave oven. Re-heat it every 30 seconds to prevent the edges of the bread from getting too hard.

When buying from the grocery

Before going to the grocery, you should have already made a list of all the things that you really need. Prioritize basic goods and avoid buying things that you do not really need. Observe the prices indicated on the displays. Remember, branded products cost considerably more than store brands. It is also a good idea to keep the receipt of your previous trip to the grocery and make it as a basis for your purchases on your next trip. To have higher savings, buy more of the product. You can always store it in your refrigerator or in the house to minimize your trips to the grocery store.

When eating outside

If you are going to eat in a pricey restaurant, the best time for you to go there would be during lunch. Food during lunch usually costs less and this will be to your advantage. When staying at the hotel on your trips, it is a good idea to check if they also include breakfast in your total room charge. You should also find out where the locals eat. Gil’s Supper Club Chances are, they will eat where the food is great and the price is even better. When going around, carry with you some snacks. A chocolate bar, chips, and cookies will go a long way while strolling around.

Eating cheaply does not necessarily mean eating bad food. Look around and you will be suprised at the options you can choose from. Take time and consider your choices so that you will not only eat a lot but save some money also.

Women of all ages and teens alike are so into the latest costume jewelry and women’s accessories. Probably because it’s way cheaper than fine jewelry? Probably because it can easily match their daily outfit? Maybe they look good with it? Maybe the answer is all of it. Costume jewelry are certainly cheaper if you are buying non brand name but if it is with a brand that’s still a big bucks. There are costume jewelries that cost thousands they are not even real. But they carry the name of your favorite fashion brand. So regardless of your reason, considering the style, the looks, would it look good on you and the price consideration, will you be one of the costume jewelry fanatic?

Speaking of fanatics, it not only applies to costume jewelries but those into fashion clothing too. Some people in order to wear their favorite style, they would go as far as buying all colors of the same kind. That can get very costly if you don’t know where to get it. But some people are smart. They would go to wholesale clothes supply chains and get it from there. But what’s interesting is that some people are way too smart that they buy wholesale clothes to get all the colors they like for the same style but also to get different sizes and sell it for cheap. It’s a good way of owning something for yourself then have the rest make the money so you pay nothing for ones that you wear. Are you this smart?

Ultimate Tips to Wholesale Clothing Success

on June 10th, 2009 by netmedi1

Following the fashion trend, what’s in, what’s hot, what are in season are key indicators for the success any sellers of wholesale clothing get. This business is so lucrative that anyone who has the money and resources wants to get into.  This is especially true if seller caters to women or juniors. Wholesale apparel industry changes many times a year that it is hard to keep up if you are not into it. Any wholesaler whose profits are widely dependent on the flow of the fashion industry are extremely cautious to what they sell and how much they get it for so they can resell in bulk but leaves substantial amount of profit margin.

Could you be a start-up or established in this business, it is the same exact rule of thumb to make profit, know fashion industry so well, where to get them with rock bottom price and has to be quality merchandise. A few examples of wholesale clothing that brings good return on your investment:

1)    Wholesale Jeans – You can never go wrong with jeans. Season in, season out, jeans always sell. No matter what the style, it always brings sales. When new style comes out, almost everybody wants to have a pair for themselves. Whatever style or new fashion trend in jeans it is for the season, it is always a hit because celebrities wear them first (especially if it is brand name clothing), then teenage kids, then everybody follows. Jeans has huge following since the beginning jeans were introduced to the consumers. Wear it casual or semi-casual, it always brings out the best in anyone who wears it especially if it fits perfectly that gives them shape and contour. Selling wholesale jeans is definitely a profit winner.

2)    Wholesale Women’s Tops – Women’s tops is always top of the line much like jeans. You cannot wear jeans without tops can you? Could you be wearing jeans, skirt, dress pants, suit anything except dress, women always need tops to go with their bottoms. Tops go by the season too. Or purpose. If it’s cooler season, then women opt to go for something with sleeves on like jackets, long sleeves, sweaters and something similar. On a hot weather, they like to wear something more casual like tank tops, halters, t-shirts, or anything sleeveless or short sleeve for that matter and something that not so thick and breathable.

3)    Wholesale T-Shirt – Use it as casual, under your jacket or anything, just like jeans, it’s one of the best sellers. Get something that is age niche related and one that anyone of all ages can use. Sell something with good color combination if it has prints on it and get some that are also plain. Cut is also very important. Do not concentrate on something that only skinny people can wear. Sell something that all sizes can wear that it’s not so tight rather comfortable and easy to the body.

Bottom line is to be successful in the wholesale apparel industry could you be selling wholesale brand name clothing or not, you need to do your homework and do it well. Have thorough understanding of your market, could it be women’s, men’s, juniors or combination of all, you need to know what kind of fashion they are inclined to wear, how much they are willing to spend especially this hard economic times and the seasonality. Don’t just settle for something cheap but inferior in quality or your merchandise won’t move. Constantly updating yourself in the fashion industry will definitely take you to the next level of wholesale clothing business.

Does is get any better then the Samsung LN52B750 52-Inch 1080p 240Hz LCD HDTV?

on June 4th, 2009 by bodysupps

Features

For what appears to be a barebones unit, the Samsung LN32B460 XEL-1 is actually quite well featured. While it looks almost identical to the overseas model, there are some important differences. Namely it now comes with a USB port instead of the much-maligned MemoryStick slot, and it boasts a local HD tuner. And while it does away with most input choices, it does have two HDMI ports.

As this is only an 11-inch screen, the resolution isn’t so hot — it’s not even quite standard definition (PAL) at 960×540, but the screen is so tiny that it’s hard to notice. It will accept inputs of 1080p and scale them down to the natural resolution without a problem, however.

Though it lacks 100Hz, it does come with a similar feature called Fine Motion, which seemed to ease motion artefacts like judder somewhat. Of course, as OLED response time is instantaneous, unlike LCD, there is little need for these motion compensation features.

The Samsung LN52B750 TV is one of the first to receive an Energy Star rating and we were a little surprised to see it receive only 3.5 out of six — especially considering that Sony repeatedly tells us that OLED uses a lot less power than LCD. In contrast, the recently released Sony WE5 42-inch got an impressive five stars.
